”Monsters” tv spot

During the height of the COVID lock down Awesomesauce was given the assignment to direct and produce a 60 second animation and live action commercial for the Los Angeles County Department of Health. We developed the three animated characters from the advertising agency’s sketches to add to their personality and ensure they worked together as a cohesive group. We opted for heavier, more contemporary line work so that the characters would stand out over the live action footage. The spots were delivered as English, Spanish and bilingual (English/Spanish); and the characters and backgrounds are being used for a multitude of other marketing materials.
